Journal 6: A Day with Nick Naylor

Nick is a missionary. He's a smoker and he had a passion - to educate people on the benefits of worshipping tobacco. As usual he finished a cultivating speech with his critic fans. He was like a well dressed al qaeda terrorist, taking a journey through the lobby attracting these viscious eyes. But it didn't surprise him, he was too engaged wandering into his Alice-in-Wonderland, sucking on that butt like a three year old sucking on a lollipop. The taste was as fresh as his wife's cooking. "And heaven knows," he wonders "It's a pity some people just don't understand, smoking is a wonderful pleasure - like sex."
"Hey Nick!" a figure called out. "That was heck of a speech." Nick just stood there, it took a moment for him to withdraw from his tobacco dreamland. "Hey man!" a young man, with blonde hair wearing a white 70's "peace" t-shirt patted him on the back. "I gotta say, you got 'em there man, I mean who knew cigarettes help develope brain cells. Damn Einstein must've smoked quite a few." Silence interrupted for minute. "Them there, aren't you worried they gonna come over here do something? I mean they say they lost family members cuz of these.." Nick drags the cigarette away from his mouth in slow motion, raised his right hand and waived at the cluster of people on the other side of the building. "You mean them?" he muttered. "Agh.. don't worry, we're all law abiding citizens."
